Early reports suggest that Bethesda still hasn't righted the wrongs of its ongoing DLC issues...

Even though Fallout 3's last portion of DLC, The Pitt, was such a nightmare for many Xbox 360 users across the globe, it now appears that PC users are experiencing problems with Bethesda's latest portion of DLC for the game, Broken Steel.

The content went live earlier today and the official Bethesda forums have already starting filling up with comments from PC users suggesting that Fallout 3: Broken Steel is not installing correctly on their machines.

Most users are reporting a cryptographic error at this stage, although gamers on the Xbox 360 appear to have been unaffected by the problems so far. Some PC gamers are even reporting what appear to be some fairly crippling bugs when they've managed to get the game running, with one poster listing the following:

SPOILER WARNING!

"Liberty Prime refuses to deactivate the 2nd shield; then I decided to walk to the purifier where I discovered that the buildings were not actually material... you could walk through them."

Another poster adds, "Liberty Prime just stands there and does nothing when I leave the citadel."

Bethesda has replied on the forums with the following: "Gathering more materials to report to every one on our side. Never a dull day on DLC release.

"Also sorry for every one that is having trouble on PC. We are looking into it."

i recon falllout 4 is going to be bigger than fallout 3 and number 3 took 1-2 years to make? so i recon even longer then that! i recon we could be seeing fallout 4 in stored by 2011? or maybe even sooner depends on how fast there making it! and fallout new vegas isnt number 4... :)

Ummm, you're on about Fallout: New Vegas - it's not Fallout 4, Bethesda are developing that.  Obsidian are doing New Vegas, and the team comprises of many former Black Isle staff who worked on the first two Fallout titles. Fallout: New Vegas was announced back in April - it is NOT Falloout 4!

When is bethesda studios going to release fall out 4....? thwey were so sucessfull on all the fall out's if they produce fall out 4 soon so many people will want to buy it and they can just keep making more. But they should add more stuff and make it in a diffrent area instead of just in the capital waiste land! And the ending of fall out 3 is really horibble no offence they could of came up with something else. i wrapped it and i was so dissapointed but the i guve the game 5 stars.

Fallout 3 is indeed a good game in a 1st Person shooter with roleplay elements point of view. It's just not Fallout.
