EA Canada is set to deliver the newest IP from EA Sports, a light-hearted boxing game called FaceBreaker...
Publisher EA has announced that FaceBreaker, a cartoon styled boxing game from EA Canada, will be coming to all three next-gen consoles (Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii). The title is set to offer a more humorous alternative to the publisher's other boxing series, Fight Night.
Much of the gameplay may be explained in the game's title, as 1up reports that EA are touting technology such as "real-time facial deformation" for the game. The boxing title is also set to take on a light-hearted, arcade approach to the sport with cartoony characters taking to the ring.
Some of the characters revealed so far hint at the sort of variations in style that we can expect. Romeo will apparently be "a Latin lover known for his pelvic thrusts," while the equally aptly named Molotov is "an oversized Russian demolitions expert with a penchant for fighting dirty." Does this mean we can expect munitions ringside? Let's hope so.
EA Sports head-honcho, Peter Moore, commented on the new IP: "Arcade boxing takes me back to my roots in this industry, and this game signals our shift to adding more approachable fun to our product line-up."

Chris Leyton, how much did EA pay you to write this to you? as you were either given a back-hand, or your a [#@!?] idiot.
Go play Ready 2 Rumble, and then tell me this is still a good game.

Possibly one of the worst games I've played in a while. Thought it would be good being from EA games, but obviously not. Way too hard even on easy level to even want to bother continuing with it.

If your a simulation fan, your not going to like this. If your a face-paced arcade fan, its fun. Its a little bit silly though
