Lionhead's return to Albion eclipses the original by a ratio of nearly four to one...
Notching up their first No.1 since Halo 3, Microsoft today celebrated the success of Lionhead's Fable II in the UK All Formats chart.
According to Chart Track data, Fable II has outsold its predecessor by a ratio of 3.81:1 during first week sales, becoming the fifth fastest selling Xbox 360 title in the UK.
Such sales success would be a likely indicator that a new chapter is in the works according to Microsoft's usual strategy; however, we fear it may be a little longer before a return to Albion is on the cards, as Lionhead are believed to be working on a new IP. That said it seems a given that we'll see some sort of expansion via Xbox Live Marketplace at some point.

Fable 3 is suppose to take place 50 years after fable 2 and you're supposedly playing as one of your offspring as you battle for the throne and what nots...thats really all i know about the game so far
