Fable II 'See The Future' Details News
Microsoft outlines what you can expect in the second Fable II DLC and when it will arrive...
By Chris LeytonPosted: 06/04/2009
Having spoken about what the second package of Fable II DLC will bring at GDC, Microsoft today sent along further details on 'See The Future'.
Scheduled to hit the Xbox Marketplace during May for 560 Microsoft Points, See The Future offers the challenge of lifting the curses placed on three items that have come into the possession of Murgo the Trader.
In See The Future, you'll be given the chance to restore colour and balance to the world, or let Albion fall by the wayside. Emerging victorious will apparently offer a vision of Albion's future and what lies ahead for those born into the heroic bloodline - hmmm, Fable 3.
Additional details allude to the quests on offer, including one revolving around a village contained within a snowglobe that used to exist as a real town in Albion. Its inhabitants are now ghosts condemned to endless torment until the shadowy threat that cursed them is lifted.
The Cursed Knight quest involves a fallen hero who awaits one who has the strength and will to dress up in convincing costumes, even imitating a hobbe or balverine, to save him from his fate.
Finally The Collosseum is where you can put your combat skills to the test to win the ultimate prize.
See the Future will also offers a variety of free unique items, including Welley's soldier helmet and other clothing, a braided ponytail and other hairstyles, psycho Jester make-up, a new hero expression, the back flip trick for canine companions, and a collectible Murgo the Trader gold statue.
