Fable II DLC Revealed News

The ice-gripped island of Knothole is unveiled by Lionhead as the studio reveals sales of 1.5 million in the first two weeks...

After a slight delay, Lionhead Studios has today confirmed a mid-December launch for the first Fable II downloadable content, set on the icy island of Knothole.

Priced at 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80), the DLC is set to expand the adventures in Albion with new quests, items, and 'bizarre' characters. In addition to the content, a free-to-download pack will also become available, providing players with a selection of in-game goodies, including Knight's Boots, Assassins Gloves, a special Weight Loss Potion, and a collectible silver book.

Lionhead is also recommending all Fable 2 players to download the free pack, which will enable gamers who haven't bought the Knothold Island pack to co-op play with others that have...so it's a little bit of housekeeping then.

News of the downloadable content comes as Lionhead reveals that global sales of Fable 2 in the first two weeks of launch topped 1.5 million copies.
