The patch adding 2 player online co-op to Fable 2 will be available on day one of the game's launch...
It was slightly worrying last month when Lionhead revealed that one of Fable 2's headlining features (2 player online co-op) would not be shipping with the game. However, the studio has now announced that a patch adding online co-op play will now be available to gamers when they boot up Fable 2 for the first time.
Lionhead had originally estimated that the patch would be available within a week of the game's launch, but it appears the developers have pulled out all the stops to give their fans an uninterrupted co-op journey into the lands of Albion.
The studio revealed this news on its development blog, adding that it will be available on day one as long as the patch doesn't fail certification. For all of you Xbox 360 owners who aren't on Xbox Live (all two of you, that is), there's no need to worry - offline co-op will still be shipping with the game.

Fable 3 is suppose to take place 50 years after fable 2 and you're supposedly playing as one of your offspring as you battle for the throne and what nots...thats really all i know about the game so far
