Codemasters details its 2009 line-up of games at its Gamers Day event in San Francisco...
News from Codemasters' Gamers Day event in San Francisco has percolated through to TVG, revealing launch windows for FUEL, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, Colin McRae: DiRT 2, Jumpgate Evolution, and the publisher's second wave of Overlord games.
On the driving game side of things, FUEL and DiRT 2 are scheduled for releases in May and September respectively, with both games being pinned down for release on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC (as well as handheld outings for DiRT 2 on PSP and Nintendo DS).
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is also scheduled for release on next-gen consoles and the PC, with Codemasters giving an estimated time of arrival for the game of summer 2009.
A raft of Overlord titles will also arrive this summer, including the direct sequel, Overlord II, for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Overlord Dark Legend will be a Wii exclusive release, while Overlord Minions is set for release on the DS.
Jumpgate Evolution, a sci-fi MMO project being published by Codemasters Online and developed by NetDevil, is set for launch this June.

for anyone who bought this on the 360 if your having trouble completing races when starting a race just wait till you hear GO and press the back button then press the LB button till your on the car select menu and choose a car or bike better suited/makes it easier to win that race/challenge and to use the dragster just do the challenge with the dragster once you hear GO press the xbox guide button and join a friend/recent players game and you can use the dragster anywhere on free roam JUST DONT FORGET IF YOU CHANGE CARS AFTER DOING THE GLITCH YOULL NEED TO DO THE DRAGSTER CHALLENGE AGAIN TO GET IT AGAIN DOING THE SAME GLITCH.
hope thisw helps even though now that ive got all the cars i cant be bothered getting all the other achievements as the game that boring ive gone back to burnout paradise getting 3000 plus degree flat spins.

Do not expect more as it says in age rating: 3 (actually its only for age group 3) its game for childrens who loves to explore things and run arounds here & there for no reasons (just like it to do).
also childrens can know why oil is so expense. but doesnt required it (Diesel is also their)
they must re-launch the game & also rename the game "Diesel" then may be it works. (Diesel is less expensive)

Well its seems that most people that have bad things to say have not played through more than a few areas. A few AI tweaks and the game would be impossible heh. I would not compare this to dirt as the demo for that game was so dull and the car handling was even worse than those of Fuels noobie vehicles.
I think the storms are represented well. I live in an area where dust storms are fairly common and you can't see..that is the trick isn't it. Vistas are just to collect figuring out the best way to get to some of them. I find the best way to avoid AI vehicles is to drive around them and drive them off the road if possible. GTA IV suffers from stupid AI vehicles too..at least the multiplayers does not suck.
Thee game could be fixed if there was more variation in the spead of vehicles and some smokey and the bandit style muliplayer options.
My big issue is the short day/night cycle. The gps can get confused in custom races since the game will not suggest large drops even if the vehicle can manage it.. Bikes need a little boost of climbing power from a dead stop
For the record Dirt was lame but good for its time..

what a shame! Grid was fantastic! Fuel on the pc is garbage!!! why cant codemasters make all their games run like Grid! have been a codemasters fan since the Dizzy series on the spectrum, i think that games for pc's are going to end, and just be for consoles, as there is more money in it for the developers, it's a real shame that company's are selling crap xbox ports, which are never going to run right on even high end pc's, another case of forgetting their roots, Greedy F&*ckers!!!!!!!!!
