EA Announce FIFA Street 3 DS News

Following announcements in October for FIFA Street 3 on PS3 and Xbox 360, the DS now joins the fray...

FIFA Street 3

The Nintendo's DS has been added to the list of consoles for EA's FIFA Street 3. This follows the announcements in October for the third FIFA Street game on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, making it the first FIFA Street title to reach the next-gens. The DS game will be released alongside the next-gen versions next spring.

This DS version is set to make use of the touch screen and stylus for flashy tricks and skills, as well as shots and passes. It will also feature an exclusive ball juggling mini-game not featured on the next-gen versions. Similarly to the next-gen games however, EA has retained the caricatured style of the players for the DS game that's new to the series this year.

The DS will exhibit a Street Challenge mode similar to the one on the next-gen machines, as well as the familiar Gamebreaker. Further progress on the DS game is set to unlock new kits and balls, among other things. There are also 'Street' playgrounds from all over the world for you to unleash the razzmatazz and style in.

What's with not making the game available on the psp. Not everyone can afford xbox's and playstation 3's. My son is nost dissapointed that he has to wait until we can afford to purchase the relevant games machine before he can have this game.

The new looks are really nice: it reminds me of the overexagerrated look of NFL Street one-
