This year's instalment of FIFA Manager will include an online mode for up to 8 players...
EA has announced that FIFA Manager 10 will include an online mode for up to 8 players who will be able to play through a full two seasons of the game. This mode will also be accessible through LAN connections.
"We're incredibly pleased to be able to give fans what they've been asking for with the new online mode in EA Sports FIFA Manager 10," said Gerald Köhler, Lead Designer of the FIFA Manager series. "This is the first time that they will be able to compete against each other and really find out who's the best manager. The online mode is free and you can play at least two seasons with up to eight players in one session."
Other enhancements (over 400 of them according to EA) for this year's game include deeper AI and better player development, new animations for the 3D mode that are based on the FIFA 09 system, and new features such as the FIFA World Player Gala and "Stadium Infrastructure" mode.
FIFA Manager 10's database will include 3,600 clubs and 31,000 players spanning 40 countries.
