European reports suggest a massive Xbox Live! tournament to promote the release of FIFA 2005 on Xbox Live! and the 2006 World Cup…
TVG has today received word of a unique collaboration between EA, Microsoft and FIFA, to promote the forthcoming release of FIFA 2005.
If our European contact is to be believed, then the three partners will shortly announce the launch of the FIFA Interactive World Cup.
Apparently the FIFA Interactive World Cup will consist of offline and online matches, and will commence from October to December 2004 in six continents; with the final being held in Zurich during December.
Weâ??ve also been told that players will have access to tips and strategies from international professional footballers, in between the matches of the tournament.
Naturally there are a lot of questions regarding the situation, such as whether the Playstation2 version will feature; weâ??ll hopefully have confirmation or debunk this report soon.
