Qualifiers announced for Denmark, Netherlands, and Hungary as the competition to be the 2008 FIFA Interactive World Cup winner hots up...
Announced in partnership with Electronic Arts and PlayStation 3, the FIFA Interactive World Cup 2008 competition continues into the next round, having selected representatives from Hungary, Denmark, and Netherlands in recent weeks.
Over 10,000 gamers have already taken part in the competition, played over PlayStation Network, with last year's winner Andreas Smit taking the Dutch qualification spot alongside 15 year old Christian Lønhart from Bagsværd in Copenhagen and 17 year old Roland Császár from Budapest.
"The FIFA Interactive World Cup is a fantastic opportunity for all football fans to show off their skills and passion for the sport with FIFA 08," said Ronaldinho. "It is a great tournament in which you have to train and work hard to succeed - just like in real football, so I invite all fans to register and enjoy this party of interactive football."
