Codemasters Birmingham speaks about a raft of multiplayer improvements for F1 2011...
In their first dev diary for F1 2011, the Codemasters Birmingham development team have spoken about the improvements to this year's multiplayer component.
Stephen Hood and Paul Jeal explain the new co-op championship mode, 16-player online multiplayer that can fill a full F1 grid for the first time with the addition of AI cars, and a split-screen mode to boot.
There's also some detail in there about how KERS, DRS, and this season's fast-wearing Pirelli tyres are being implemented into the game, as well as the expanded 'Be The Driver, Live The Life, Go Compete' mantra for the career mode...
