First true EyeToy videogame heading towards European shores soon...

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today confirmed a Q1 release for Harmonix forthcoming EyeToy: AntiGrav. Coming from the acclaimed music specialists behind Frequency and Amplitude, EyeToy: AntiGrav promises to be closer to a â??videogameâ? than previous EyeToy releases.

The fully 3D action-packed â??thrill-rideâ? utilises EyeToy technology to lock-on to body parts, and tracks them continuously for an innovative gaming experience; simple body movements alone allow the player to control the on-screen character as they take to the rails in the future of extreme sports racing.

Using the USB EyeToy camera, players can race, soar and perform breathtaking airborne tricks on a gravity defying hoverboard through ten tracks across five futuristic worlds. Players can make a choice between eight original characters each with unique attributes, as they weave through traffic filled cities, dodging airborne cars and mile-high skyscrapers whilst racing to a soundtrack provided by Apollo 440.

Two separate modes feature within the game; â??Speedâ? mode challenges players to blast through the skies, racing against other boarders, whilst the â??Styleâ? mode tasks players with unleashing killer combos to score big points and unlock extra content. In addition the game features a multiplayer mode, in which a player can take on up to three ghost riders in a fast-paced competition.

Weâ??ll have more on EyeToy: AntiGrav soon.
