One of the main concerns raised by Microsoft's decision to use a standard DVD drive in Xbox 360 was the current technology's lack of space compared to the massive amounts capable with blu-ray and HD-DVD. Would Xbox 360 titles end up spanning numerous discs, pulling gamers from the immersive environments in order load up the next DVD?
Highly anticipated title Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is one game that looked like a potential candidate for being the first Xbox 360 title to span multiple discs, but it seems that any such concerns have been laid to rest by developer Bethesda.
One of the company's developers has announced on the official Elder Scrolls forum that Oblivion will be released on a single DVD stating just that when confronted with the issue by one user: "No, the game will be on one disk."
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is expected to be released in Spring 2006, we'll have more news shortly...

all of you people that say its not working becasue a quest pop up wont come thats not important its a minor script problem all you do is go to the island og near the bravil in niban bay and whenn your there you can get the quest message and the games alot more adapatable on the PC and they yellow boxes thats an item or person if you havent put the correct files into the oblivon data folder and if you dont know were that is its my computer local disk C program files bethesda softworks then oblivion and then you can see the data folder

im having the same problem as every1 elss iv got the knights of the nine and shivering isles but no profit no gate even after literaly 1000 hours in every city every part of the imperial city too im giving up! (even after the upgrade to oblivion 1.2)
