Bethesda To Release Final Oblivion Content News

Fighter's Stronghold to be released on PC and Xbox 360 from Monday; new downloadable content free for one week...

Bethesda has today confirmed that Monday will see the release of the final piece of downloadable content for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on Xbox 360 and PC. The fourth 'domicile' following the likes of the Thieves' Den and Vile Lair, Fighter's Stronghold will see players inherit Battlehorn Castle.

Without sounding too much like an estate agent, the castle sits in the Colovian Highlands, and features expansive private quarters, a wine cellar, a secret treasure vault, dining hall, and barracks. Other additions include remnants of the Knights of the True Horn that patrol the castle as security, a private shrine to Julianos, and a taxidermist who will be more than happy to stuff any of the creatures found in Cyrodiil in order to fill the castle's Great Hall.

The downloadable pack will be available for free for just one week before it joins the ranks of premium content, with Bethesda also confirming that plans to release The Shivering Isles expansion pack on PlayStation 3 have nearly been thrashed out.
