The casual title from developers EA Canada will feature a wide range of playground games...
EA have announced the release dates of a new casual game title from developers EA Canada. EA Playground will be available on the Nintendo Wii and DS, with a European release for both systems on November 2nd (October 23rd in North America).
EA Playground features a large assortment of mini games that you'll remember from your primary school days. These range from tetherball (swingball), slot car racing, dodgeball and bug hunt on the Wii; to hoops, RC racers, spitballs and trampoline on the DS.
"EA Playground has been designed to be accessible and fun, making it the perfect game to enjoy by yourself or with your friends and family," said Executive Producer, David McCarthy. "Young, old, male or female, this is a game that expands the appeal of videogames to a market of non-traditional gamers. For kids it's about indulging in the energy and magic of the playground; for parents or even grandparents, it's about re-experiencing childhood thrills."
