As expected Need for Speed, FIFA, Madden and more, all make the cut for the 360`s launch...

Electronic Arts has today confirmed that itâ??s Xbox 360 launch line-up of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, FIFA 06: Road to World Cup, Madden NFL 06, NBA Live 06 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 will all be available at Microsoftâ??s sumptuous X05 extravaganza in Amsterdam.

The event, which takes place tomorrow and Wednesday, will play host to the next-gen systems line-up of titles including EAâ??s quintet. One subtle detail in the list is that FIFA 06 on Xbox 360 is subtitled â??Road to World Cupâ? â?“ does this difference signify anything other than the including of a World Cup qualification mode?

Confirming the line-up Gerhard Florin, EA Executive Vice President and General Manager of International Publishing said, "It's a great moment for us to finally put this many EA Xbox 360 launch titles into the hands of enthusiastic gamers for them to really feel what makes these next generation videogamesâ?¦The visual richness and engaging gameplay are just two of the many reasons that gamers all over the world have something to look forward to this autumn with the Xbox 360 launch."

"EA will have our biggest game franchises like Need For Speed, FIFA and NBA LIVE ready for the launch of Xbox 360, so that the first game experience on the new system is unforgettable," said Frank Gibeau, EA Executive Vice President and General Manager of North American Publishing. "This week at X05 gamers will get an early look at the stunning graphics and compelling gameplay that awaits them later this autumn when Xbox 360 ships."

Weâ??ll have further coverage from Amsterdam over the next two daysâ?¦
