Turbine confirm two of the voice artists for the forthcoming Dungeons & Dragons Online title...
We've already had Hollywood stars lend their vocal talents to videogame characters, but today Turbine have announced they've gone one step further for the MMORPG Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach - they've got the original creators of the D&D phenomenon. Creating the game back in the 1970s, Gary Gyrax and Dave Arneson kick-started a icon in the world of gaming with their strong story-driven events and table-top war games, and now the two will feature in Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach.
"Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson are icons within the gaming community, and their roles in DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE(TM) will resonate with players everywhere," said Jeffrey Anderson, president and CEO of Turbine, Inc. "We are striving to adapt online gaming to the true D&D experience and the involvement of the original D&D creators is absolutely thrilling."
