Exclusive items and early access promised to those who show their faith from the onset...

2006 marks the year that everybody attempts to get a slice of the MMORPG action that Blizzard are currently enjoying with the unstoppable behemoth that is World of Warcraft.

The first to make an attempt is Atari and Turbine, who are set to take it all back to where it originated, with the release of Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach on March 3rd 2006, followed by localised German and French versions on March 24th.

In an increasingly common stunt, Atari today confirmed that from February 10th customers who pre-order the title will benefit from guaranteed access to the beta, early entry into the game, exclusive artwork and in-game items.

The exclusive pre-order pack will be available in certain retailers across Europe from February 10th, and contains a DVD of the beta client and exclusive goodies such as an Amulet of +1 Armour Class and an exclusive to Europeans in the shape of the Ring of Haggling which provides permanent discounts when buying items in Stormreach, along with two serial numbers to gain entrance into the beta test and a head start access into the final game.

"We've worked closely with Turbine and Codemasters to offer our European customers a genuinely valuable incentive to fans who order DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE: Stormreach early," said Cyril Voiron, Marketing Director, Atari Europe. "The level of interest the title has already generated amongst the communities will convert into a wave of pre-orders across Europe once the fans see the real benefits pre-ordering brings."
