Duke Nukem: Zero Hour

Duke Nukem rocked the Playstation with Time To Kill, a game that redefined Duke's gamplay forever. GT Interactive and Eurocom hope to do the same on the N64.

When I first heard about Duke Nukem making a second appearance on the N64, I went nuts. And when I heard that it would be a third-person game, I went bonkers!!! I may be a huge Duke Nukem fan, but dont think that I am going to give this game a perfect score just because Duke's name and face are on the box. This game has its flaws...some of which really pissed me off.

I can start with my biggest complaint...the levels are too freaking big and you can only save after each level. So, that means that if I got to the end of a level and I got killed..I would have to start all over. Other than those flaws, there are over 30+ levels full of zombies, pigcops, and lizards. You have a full arsenal of new weapons as well, including a cool sniper gun witch lets you blow the limbs and heads off of unsuspecting enemies from far distances. Each level consists of you saving babes and solving puzzles and clearing out enemies within the stages.
All of this is included with an excellent storyline.

Duke has the same ol' one liners and wise cracks. With a heart throbbing soundtrack, GT Interactive didnt go wrong with the sound in this game.

The control is just like that found in the Turok franchise, it lets Duke glide across the enviroments smoothly and with any problems. Or, if you dont like the control setup, you can simply change it.

The graphics are sweet with the Expansion Pak, you will be amazed with how well this game looks, I was. These are top notch graphics baby!!!!

You cant go wrong with getting this game, with great multi-player modes and gameplay, Duke is in his finest hour..Hail to the King BABY!!!!!!!
