Duke Nukem: Forever

One of the most famous names in the trade, Duke Nukem forever is finally approaching us. Work started on Duke Nukem Forever’s original side-scrolling 3D incarnation back in 1997. One name change, a complete game overhaul and several years later (thanks CVG).

Duke Nukem has already starred in numerous games on practically all formats Forever is the latest version which puts First Person shooters way in the lead. Forever will feature some of the most impress visuals you will ever see in a game of this class, complete with Duke’s attitude and his infamous strippers looks like the party has only just begun.

Although information is few and far between, we do know that Duke’s enemy Dr Proton has taken over Area 51 to recruit a batch of aliens to form his new army. A PlaysStation 2 and Dreamcast version should be on the way although this has not be confirmed by the developers nor the publishers.

Final Comments:
Duke Nukem has to be one of the best games ever; we’ve been waiting a long time forever. Finally forever is not as far away as it sounds a late 2000 launch is expected.

i really feel bad for the people who were making this game for over a decade. This game should've been so much better.

not to advertise other websites here but gamersyde has a video of duke nukem forever running and it looks sweet as so even with fairly low recomended spec it'll look good and run like sh** off a shovel.

I can't wait for the remake of Duke Nukem Forever. They should get started now if they want to finish it before video games are considered a mocking reference to the kitsch of a dead society. Or maybe that wouldn't matter since Duke Nukem is already a joke about Duke Nukem.

It's a shame but inevitable given the awful dev time of DNF...

i doubt duke nukem forever will materialise, its game engin will be well and truly out of date, releasing it on xbox live arcade or psn is the only way people will consider it a worthy purchase though to be perfectly honest there are far better shooters out there anyway like cod4 or left 4 dead.

LOL Why the hell does anyone EVER pre-order software. I have never in 20+ years ever not been able to stroll into a store and get the latest release off the shelf.
