EA and BioWare's classically-modelled RPG loots the top spot from Nintendo's latest Pokémon...
Dragon Age 2 has landed itself atop the UK Charts in its first week on the market, supplanting Nintendo's Pokémon Black and White versions which dominated the chart when they launched last week. The two titles have been divided this week by a non-mover at No.3, Fight Night Champion.
This means that EA has already managed to bag itself three No.1 games so far this year with FIFA 11 (after it returned to the top spot at the start of the year) and Dead Space 2, which was released at the end of January.
Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops finally seems to be losing its grip on the top 10, dropping three places again this week to No.9. Prior to the last two weeks' charts, Black Ops hadn't dropped below the top five spots since its launch in November.
