Articles on RevolutionIGN have today reported that one of the first Revolution titles from THQ will be an adaptation of Pixar's forthcoming movie, Cars. Already announced for the raft of current-generation titles including both the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, a spokesperson from THQ in North America has apparently told the site that the adaptation will be released 'in the launch window' of Nintendo's next-gen console.

TVG contacted THQ in the UK about the report, but a spokesperson for the publisher stated that they could only confirm the current-gen and handheld versions of the game.

Although a release date for Cars is yet to be announced, expect it to be released during the summer around the time that the film makes it to cinemas.
