Capcom announce a release date for the third instalment of DMC, but will it make up for its disappointing predecessor…
Dante fans, this is the news that youâ??ve been waiting for as Capcom confirm the release date for Devil May Cry 3 in Europe as March 23rd 2005. The game is set for a Japanese release in February, with a North American release expected soon after.
In a report from Japanese magazine Famitsu, Capcom released some information about the forthcoming release. Two weapons, Gauntlet and Artemis have been announced. Artemis is a long-ranged weapon that can be used against multiple enemies even when jumping in mid-air; it can also be upgraded to include a laser net that traps enemies. The Gauntlet is a close combat weapon, for use against individual opponents, which while powerful, is slower than the sword.
The fighting style and general control system has been developed to suit the requirements of a wide range of gamers, from hard-core to casual so thereâ??s no excuse if youâ??re not very adept!
