It’s been rumoured and now finally confirmed, Namco are developing a First Person Shooter...
The rumours started awhile back that Namco, worried by their lack of ‘Western’ titles was working on a FPS for the console market. <br /> <br /> Today at the Tokyo Game Show that rumour became fact, as the first details were uncovered, however a shooter may not be the best word to describe it. Breakdown for the Xbox marks a strange title for Namco, as the Japanese aren’t noted in the FPS genre. Unfortunately no specific details were forthcoming, however it’s believed that this will be significantly different to the games we’re used to seeing in the genre. An example of this is that emphasis is placed on hand-to-hand combat rather then guns. <br /> <br /> It certainly sounds interesting, however all we know is that the game is scheduled for a release in Japan during summer 2003, that along with these first collection of screens we’ve managed to get hold of… <br />
