Devil May Cry movie in the pipeline along with Tekken and Onimusha...

Capcom has confirmed plans to produce a movie based on the hit Playstation2 title – Devil May Cry. The Japanese publisher has entered an agreement with GaGa Productions, who have set aside a budget of $40million and scheduled filming to begin sometime in 2005.<br><br>Specific details on the cast, plot and director have yet to be confirmed, however it’s believed both companies want to ensure the movie remains close to the videogames – easing fears of another Streetfighter debacle.<br><br>Devil May Cry isn’t the only videogame IP that GaGa Productions are working with, they also have signed the rights to Capcom’s Onimusha franchise along with Namco’s Tekken; let’s hope they can buck the trend of dismal movie translations.<br>
