Eidos uncovers The Missing Link next week...

Square Enix Europe has announced a UK release date and pricing details for Deus Ex: Human Revolution's first instalment of DLC, The Missing Link.

It'll launch over Xbox Live and for PC on October 18th before moving over to PSN a day later – Xbox 360 users can get it for 1200 Microsoft Points (£10.20), while £8.99 is the price point for both PC digital download and PSN.

The DLC takes place during the main game's storyline – those of you who've completed it will remember that Jensen goes 'radio silent' from Sarif Industries and boards a freighter ship towards the end of the game.

While the main game's storyline rejoins the action three days later once Adam has left the ship, The Missing Link investigates what happened while Jensen was aboard. Having lost the powers of his augmentations, Jensen is tortured by Belltower agents and must rebuild his augmentation array from scratch.

Yet another reason why I frequent your site, you use words like flummoxed.

You crazy brits with your beer and your "football" and your fancy vocabulary. What will you think of next?

With love from the colonies, SL

This guy is really asking for it...  Admitedly he's probably right, Deus Ex did lack big scripted moments, but that's because it was all about evolving your character.

He's also right about the consolisation of Invisible War - although I think that got some harsh criticism.

they have to really push the lines on this one, i love the first game as many did. if they make a strong story and amazing gfx (HL2) with full upgrades this game will rock

I actually hope they put some work into it and make it for the PC, instead of a crappy portal from consoles. IW sucked because of the excessive load screens.
