Final Fantasy artists set to work on the CG sequences in Eidos Montreal's Deus Ex 3 and possibly Thief 4...
Deus Ex 3 will benefit from the amalgamation of Eidos and Square-Enix with confirmation that the game's cinematics will be created by the Japanese division, who've previously demonstrated their skill and experience in the CG-heavy Final Fantasy series.
"Deus Ex 3 is going to be the first project which will be a concrete product of joint effort between Square Enix and Eidos," Stephane D'Astous recently told EDGE. "The cinematics—by which I mean any CGI pre-rendered cinematics — are going to be done in Tokyo by Square Enix, and that's going to be amazing."
D'Astous claims that the team is excited by the prospect of working on a title unrelated to Final Fantasy and also showed an interest in Thief 4.

Yet another reason why I frequent your site, you use words like flummoxed.
You crazy brits with your beer and your "football" and your fancy vocabulary. What will you think of next?

This guy is really asking for it... Admitedly he's probably right, Deus Ex did lack big scripted moments, but that's because it was all about evolving your character.
He's also right about the consolisation of Invisible War - although I think that got some harsh criticism.

they have to really push the lines on this one, i love the first game as many did. if they make a strong story and amazing gfx (HL2) with full upgrades this game will rock

I actually hope they put some work into it and make it for the PC, instead of a crappy portal from consoles. IW sucked because of the excessive load screens.
