Eidos Montreal's Stephane D'Astous outlines plans for the studio's development of triple A titles...
Stephane D'Astous, the General Manager at Eidos Montreal, has spoken to trade site Gamasutra about the production cycles at the new studio. Indirectly, his comments suggest a mid to late 2009 release for the third Deus Ex game. This follows Eidos' revelations last May that the third Deus Ex game was in the pipeline at the new studio.
According to D'Astous, the studio is to focus solely on producing triple A titles for next-gen machines, so they will be right at the forefront of Eidos games development. Nevertheless, while D'Astous is gunning for a workforce of 350 by 2009, the current team is a "tightly knit" group of 80 people. This will apparently form a production cycle of 18-24 months.
Given that D'Astous announced in the interview that Deus Ex 3 has just passed proof of concept, this suggests a mid to late 2009 release for the studios' first project.
Speaking about the Deus Ex series and the studio' eagerness to develop the title, D'Astous commented: "This game was very highly rated at its release in 2000, and we have this great huge mandate to do the third one, and everybody is very excited."

This guy is really asking for it... Admitedly he's probably right, Deus Ex did lack big scripted moments, but that's because it was all about evolving your character.
He's also right about the consolisation of Invisible War - although I think that got some harsh criticism.

they have to really push the lines on this one, i love the first game as many did. if they make a strong story and amazing gfx (HL2) with full upgrades this game will rock

I actually hope they put some work into it and make it for the PC, instead of a crappy portal from consoles. IW sucked because of the excessive load screens.
