Switch the roles and take control of aliens trying to destroy Earth...

Having briefly been mentioned during THQâ??s E3 line-up, we can now bring you further details on Destroy All Humans for the Playstation2 and Xbox.

Currently in development at Pandemic Studios and scheduled for release in Spring 2005, Destroy All Humans switches the roles around and pits players as the Aliens trying to invade Earth.

â??Weâ??re in the business of publishing cutting-edge video games, though if youâ??re at the right place at the right time, you sometimes get a chance to save the world too,â? said Peter Dille, Sr. vice president worldwide marketing, THQ. â??When our teams uncovered this scheme to Destroy All Humans!, we felt it our civil duty to crack the conspiracy and save the planet.â?

The Aliens throughout the game are known as Furons, with the accompanying artwork showing a fierce little extraterrestrial warrior named Cryptosprodium-137; itâ??s his task to carry out their first reconnaissance mission, to infiltrate our society, control us, harvest our brain stems and ultimately destroy us all.

â??Scary, when you think about it,â? comments Pandemic President Josh Resnick, himself a six-time alien abductee. â??I mean, if destroying the earthâ??s cities, abducting its citizens, and probing their minds to discover human weaknesses were all just some exciting new blast-happy destruction-fest for my Sony PlayStation2 or Microsoft Xbox, that would be one thing. But thereâ??s much more to it than that. Once they get you, get inside your mindâ?¦well, all Iâ??m saying is, before they take me next time the least they could do is buy me a drink.â?

Weâ??ll have a closer look at Destroy All Humans soon.

THQ owns the rights to the series. Pandemic hasn't developed any DAH titles for quite a while. This is largely why they have been so terrible.
