Deadly Creatures To Scurry Onto Wii News

If you're a arachnophobia sufferer, THQ's upcoming action thriller for Wii may not be to your liking. An exclusive for the Nintendo platform, Deadly Creatures pits gamers into the heart of multi-legged survival as either a tarantula or a scorpion against the likes of Black Widows and Tarantula Wasps.

In development at THQ's Rainbow Studios, Deadly Creatures is something of a departure for the Arizona-based outfit, which has been focusing on producing Cars, and MX vs ATV: Untamed.

"Deadly Creatures is an amazingly innovative game concept, and exemplifies THQ's commitment to creating original new IP for the Nintendo Wii platform," said Randy Shoemaker, director of global brand management, THQ. "With Deadly Creatures, we are raising the bar for all 3rd party Wii titles, and focusing on deep, compelling gameplay for a largely untapped audience of Wii gamers."
