Dead Space will now be released on the PC as well as the PS3 and Xbox 360, confirms EA...

Dead Space's Executive Producer, Glen Schofield, has revealed that Dead Space (one of the publisher's biggest new IPs for 2008) will now come out on PC, as well as the previously slated Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. Schofield also mentioned that the survival-horror story has been designed with a Dead Space series in mind.

In an interview with Eurogamer Germany, Schofield commented that "I would definitely like to make future Dead Space games. I'd love for this to become a well established franchise; we've created a huge and rich back story and universe, so other games could easily be made."

Due for release in the second half of 2008, Dead Space's story places the protagonist, Isaac Clarke, in an eerily deserted space ship (in a third-person perspective). Sure enough, beasties soon turn up for the usual survival-horror fun and frolics.

Who said TVG works things out as averages?  Scores are weighted according to their importance - so the final score is actually weighted more towards the gameplay rather that visuals or sound.

Hope this helps.
