The latest issue of Famitsu reveals a port of the Xbox 360 version of Dead Rising for Nintendo's Wii...

It's been nearly two years since the zombies of Dead Rising first lurched across our Xbox 360's, but now the apocalypse in a shopping mall is set to grace Nintendo's Wii.

This is according to a reveal (screenshots and all) in the latest issue of Famitsu, which details a straight port of the Xbox 360 original of Dead Rising for the Wii.

Diehard Dead Rising fans are still clinging onto hopes that Dead Rising 2 will be revealed at E3 this week, with rumours suggesting that the sequel is Las Vegas bound rather than the rockier Colorado setting of the first game.

Expect more details on Dead Rising Wii from Capcom soon in an official announcement. We're hoping that a limited edition, pump action Wii Zapper will come bundled with the game for added zombie killing shotgun fun. We can but dream...

This screens are all from early in the game. The mass of zombies comes late in the game.

I loved this game on the 360, one of the best ever is it getting a PS3 release

The graphics have taken a hit and the zombie count doesn't appear to be as high as the 360, check out the screenshots. I'm guessing the in fested underground parking areas are going to be slightly different on Wii.
