Inafune Wants Multiple Endings For Dead Rising 2 News

Dead Rising 2's Producer, Keiji Inafune has stated that it's his "desire" to put multiple endings in the game (as was the case with the original), although the development team is not currently at a point where they've decided one way or the other.

"Definitely one of the things people seemed to like with the first Dead Rising game was that there were multiple endings, and so I personally would love to be able to put in multiple endings in this game," said Inafune.

"We haven't officially gotten to that point in the game where we decide one way or the other, so all I can say right now [is] that it's my desire to do that in the game, but at this point I can't officially say yes or no."

This news follows a raft of multiplayer info on the game that came out of TGS last week, which revealed that the multiplayer component will be set in "America's new capital of entertainment, Fortune City," where up to four players will compete in a fictitious TV show called Terror is Reality.

Here, gamers will attempt to outdo their rivals by generally killing more zombies and preventing their opponents from scoring. Weapons such as a paddle-saw - which has two chainsaws attached to a canoe paddle - and even giant hamster balls will be available to ratchet up the carnage.
