Media reports suggest Frank West's return is indeed on the cards, but not from Capcom...
The "will it, won't it" scenario surrounding Dead Rising 2 took a further twist today, with Eurogamer suggesting that the sequel is currently in development at the Canadian based developer Blue Castle Games.
Rumours that the title would be farmed out to a Western studio appeared earlier in the year, with a source close to the studio claiming, "Everyone's really excited; the team has obviously seen the rumours and it's been hard to keep quiet, but they can't wait to show off the game."
Blue Castle Game's credits so far has circled around US sports with the release of 'The Bigs', and the currently in-development 'MLB Front Office'. Hopefully that doesn't mean they won't be able to create an awesome zombie-slaying follow-up to what was one of the most entertaining action videogames in years - and four-player online support would be quite nice as well.

Yeah, all we know is that it's scheduled for an early 2010 release. If Capcom's release strategy for its triple A games is anything like last year with SFIV and Resi 5, then Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 will arrive around spring time.
