Capcom lists Dead Rising 2 as a "Calendar 2010" release in Japan; plans for the game's European release remain unclear...
While Capcom announced specific release dates for Lost Planet 2 and SSFIV this morning, the publisher has become increasingly vague about its launch plans for Dead Rising 2 by listing the title for a "Calendar 2010" launch in Japan and failing to detail plans for the game's European launch.
The Western developed title, which is underway at Canadian outfit Blue Castle Games, was downgraded from its initial fiscal 2009/10 launch window earlier this year and subsequently pushed into Capcom's 2010/11 fiscal year (running between April 1st 2010 and March 31st 2011).
This morning, Capcom failed to mention the title as part of its raft of release date announcements to the European press, although TVG understands from an industry source that the publisher intends to announce its release plans for Dead Rising 2 in EU territories soon.

Yeah, all we know is that it's scheduled for an early 2010 release. If Capcom's release strategy for its triple A games is anything like last year with SFIV and Resi 5, then Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 will arrive around spring time.
