Rumour has it that Rock Band developer, Harmonix is developing a dance game for Microsoft's Project Natal hardware...

According to a slice of rumour and speculation that's doing the rounds, Rock Band developer Harmonix could be developing a dance game based around Microsoft's incoming Project Natal hardware.

Game Informer
has the lowdown and points to recent songs that Harmonix has licensed, which don't really fit under the traditional Rock Band banner, as evidence to support the rumour.

Whatever the case, Natal would certainly lend itself to this type of game and the recent success of Ubisoft's Just Dance title will encourage other publishers and developers to have a go at this niche in the casual market. Additionally, we'd expect Harmonix to be right at the front of that queue given its experience with rhythm games and the diminishing sales of its Rock Band series.
