EA Heralds BattleCast PrimeTime News

Multiplayer madness intensifies for Command & Conquer 3 fans as EA takes to seat...

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars

Command & Conquer 3 take a turn for the melodramatic next week, with details on the next stage for the game's BattleCast technology.

From August 14th, C&C3 fans can access a specific online channel showcasing the wretchedly titled Battlecast PrimeTime flagship show. Combining a sportscast look and feel with expert commentary (and presumably enough analysis to drive a psychiatrist insane), the announcement has already split opinions with some concerns that it's all interfering with the release of the latest patch!

Providing a platform that EA hopes will allow experts to show-off their skills and newcomers to learn a trick or two (along with Kane 'hamming' it up in the studio), the featured multiplayer matches will be broken down and analysed by the creators at EA Los Angeles.

Highlights of the show include:

  • Epic multiplayer match highlights and detailed profiles of each of the fans playing in the featured matches
  • Exclusive interviews with Command & Conquer development team members
  • News updates surrounding key community events
  • Celebrity guest appearances including Joe Kucan, the actor who originated the role of the infamous Kane in the Command & Conquer series

BattleCast PrimeTime will begin on August 14th at the official C&C3 website - (http://www.commandandconquer.com/).

sup com is... ok... nothing special, games take to long, not really skilled play, its about massing and then eventual toppling due to maybe a underhand tactic, ive played with the best sup comm'ers and the games were.. boring. CnC3 Ftw..
