Firaxis CEO confirms a new title in the hugely popular strategy series…
During an interview with <a href=http://www.gamedaily.com>Game Daily</a>, Jeff Briggs, President and CEO of Firaxis, confirmed the rumours by announcing the development of ‘Civilization IV’.
Briggs confirmed that himself, Sid Meier and the team are currently working on ‘Civilization IV’ and ‘Pirates 2’ – a sequel to the 1987 original – and two other projects that he couldn’t reveal at present.
Unfortunately no other details have become apparent as of yet, with both games believed to still be in the early planning stages; we’ll have more information soon.
