City of Heroes and City of Heroes subscribers to see a raft of updates and features...
NCsoft Europe has today announced the latest update for the MMOs City of Heroes and City of Villains, Issue 8: To Protect and Serve. Whereas the previous update, Issue 7, skewed towards the more villainous aspects of Paragon City, Issue 8 sees the heroic forces fight back.
Highlights of the update including Safeguard Missions that utilise the new Police Band and enable gamers to stop rioters from destroying different zones throughout Paragon, and the rebuilding of the Faultline zone - which promises to reveal more than a few surprises. Heroes versus Villains combat will also be able to take place in the neutral ground of the Pocket D Nightclub.
NCsoft will also be introducing the Veterans Reward Program, which will retroactively reward gamers for their loyalty to the game with additional items and costumes.

Personaly I'm a flavor player. I dont care what the primaries and secondaries are but it would be nice if each primary for an AT had a secondary that made sense with it. Stone for Doms, fine but what the heck do you match to it? Also I would have loved to have seen Doms get Illusion control. The idea of trickery and false images just seems more a senaky vilian thing to me.
