Music creation puzzle game out March 30th...
Zoe Mode has announced a release date for the expanded version of its superlative Xbox 360 and PC music puzzler Chime. Chime Super Deluxe will be available from March 30th for £7.19 over PSN, and features 4 player co-op and Versus modes exclusive to the new PS3 version.
Chime is an inspired fusion of block-puzzling and music creation: you use irregular shapes to form rectangular blocks called quads, each of which generates its own musical notes and phrases. The game uses stem tracks from real songs, and as players cover the game grid, a unique remix is created from the original recordings.
The new Co-op mode is a multiplayer extension of the classic gameplay, while Versus mode has players battling for coverage of the grid, overwriting their opponents’ quads with their own colours and musical phrases.
