Activision announces Modern Warfare: Mobilised for release alongside the home console sequel on November 10th...
Activision has announced a DS companion for this November's Modern Warfare 2 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilised, which will release alongside the home console versions on November 10th.
A wide range of warring gameplay has been promised for the handheld spin-off, such as taking control of battle tanks and spy drones, manning an AC-130 gunship's cannons, and hacking computer terminals.
The single-player campaign provides a "companion narrative" to the home console versions, as well as online multiplayer for up to 6 people (with the option to host your own server), and a new Survival Mode that challenges players to hold off wave after wave of enemy forces (it sounds a bit like Gears 2's Horde mode).
Modern Warfare: Mobilised will also ship with an Arcade Mode that allows players to replay the single-player campaign with a time limit, running score, and specific achievements if you're up to the mark.
n-Space has been assigned development of the game by Activision, having previously handled the last two Call of Duty titles on DS.
