New Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare multiplayer maps inbound on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation3...
Console CoD fans can begin to get a little excited. Admittedly the heart-pumping action that Call of Duty 4 provides still hasn't had the time to grow dull yet, but Infinity Ward is never one to rest on their laurels with confirmation that downloadable multiplayer maps are on the horizon for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3.
"We've demonstrated our commitment to delivering the best multiplayer experience in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and that continues with our plans for new downloadable content," explains Infinity Ward's Community Manager, Robert Bowling. "We're excited about the new maps, and the added gameplay variety, and we can't wait to wrap things up and get online with everyone."
Unfortunately that's about all we know at this stage; no further information on what the pack will entail, when it will be available, and more importantly whether Infinity Ward will be able to get it out for free.

post 51 that is not true, they are still releasing the game at the end of the year, they have been making this game since the first modern warfare came out, hense why COD5 is much like COD 4 in the terms of gameplay and graphics, it just shows they made that game to keep people happy while making modern warfare 2.
then after modernwar fare 2 i believe its a futuristic look on the COD series, but not that far in the future. like mabey 20 years, a clue was in COD5 on nazi zombies with ther ray gun =)
