The Xbox 360 version of CoD4 finally receives the update that will smooth-out the multiplayer game...
Having received clearance from Microsoft, the latest update for the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty 4 has now gone live. The update includes a number of desperately needed features for the multiplayer game such as host migration, more spawn points and improved sniper scope accuracy.
One of the most significant improvements is host migration, which means that when a host leaves a game it won't cause any unwanted lobby departures. Instead, an appropriate host will be chosen from the remaining players and the game can continue.
Another problem that has plagued some maps more than others is a lack of spawn points. Nine extra spawn points on each side have been added with this patch, which should fix those issues.
The Kill Cams and Spectator Cams have been improved as well. You'll now be able to watch an airstrike from the bomb's perspective as it hurtles to destroy you. Additionally, Spectator Cam now allows gamers to switch between first and third person views while rotating the camera in 360 degrees.
Sniper and ACOG scopes have been refined to provide the sort of accuracy that gamers have been yearning for. Hopefully that will ensure a few new recruits to the role of a quiet assassin.
Finally, a new quick mute option allows you to silence pesky gamers by simply bringing up the in-game scoreboard.

post 51 that is not true, they are still releasing the game at the end of the year, they have been making this game since the first modern warfare came out, hense why COD5 is much like COD 4 in the terms of gameplay and graphics, it just shows they made that game to keep people happy while making modern warfare 2.
then after modernwar fare 2 i believe its a futuristic look on the COD series, but not that far in the future. like mabey 20 years, a clue was in COD5 on nazi zombies with ther ray gun =)
