Could Treyarch's console-only Call of Duty be taking a March to Paris... [Updated]
Set for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation3, Wii, Xbox, and PlayStation2 later in 2006, it seems that Call of Duty 3 may have undergone something of a name change - if reports across the Channel prove to be accurate.
According to online French publication GameKult, Activision has renamed the World War II FPS to Call of Duty 3 - En marche vers Paris (March to Paris). If the news is correct then the game will be brought in line with past instalments on the consoles, including Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Call of Duty: Big Red One.
Confirmation is yet to be made by Activision that the title has been extended; we'll have more news shortly...
Update: Activision has since been in contact with TVG to clarify that the March to Paris subtitle will only be used in France. Elsewhere the game will remain "Call of Duty 3".
