EA announces the development of Burnout Revenge for the Playstation2 and Xbox...

Following on from the hugely successful transition to EA's catalogue, the publishing giant today confirmed details as widely expected on its follow-up.

Currently in development at EA subsidiary Criterion Studios for a September release, Burnout Revenge continues the trend of its predecessors by unleashing players through rush-hour traffic and having to lay waste to scores of rubbernecking roadhogs in complete car carnage.

The game promises new race, crash and road-rage game types in addition to an all-new Revenge mode, challenging gamers to battle the clock and unleash their frustrations on the rush-hour traffic.

Weâ??ll have lots more on Burnout Revenge very soon.

Fantastic. Easy to learn, a bit harder to master, great replay value, this is how PS2 games should be.
