looks like either criterion games or ea have pulled the plug on the new map update as theres no mention on the criterion games web site about it (it was due this fall but theres no mention of it), it also looks like its the end of the free updates if you want the new updats to the game next year itll cost you to get the new car packs. oh and just for the record in febuary dont get the new burnout paradise game its the same as the one you have already got only with the current updates on it (just another way for crteriongames/EA to rake in even more money from the game)

what is the release date for the davis update on the xbox 360

the reason the 360 gets update firstis unlike the ps3 with its free online play 360 owners pay for the service and in return we get the updates first (most of the updates require payment of ms points where as the ps3 versions are of a higher cost as that service is free) the other rson why the updat came out for the ps3 first is sony just wanted exclusivity of the update even though it had loads of bugs in it, ms are a lot stricter than sony so we should get a more stable update.

I understand your disappointment "gth-77" But, now you no how PS3 owners of multi-conconsle games feel. when we get the shaft because Dev's are always pushing 360 updates and games out before PS3 version. Just like the COD4 map pack that PS3 owners had to wait for. the PS3 being lead on Burnout is probably the only reason it came out first.

now you can unless you own a 360, the cagney update is now online ready for download in the playstation store (360 owners have to wait another 3 weeks cause criterion games are too lazy to sort out the minor bugs on the 360 version)

nice game great multiplayer shame criterian games are back to being biast, the new cagney update is now available to PS3 fanboys but 360 has to wait even longer (talk about taking the pi**) the date for whaen they expect the update to happen on 360 is july 24th at the earliest. either way i doubt many 360 owners will return to it as its a pi** take of how long its going to take to release it. (tell em to get off the ps3 version and sort the 360 update out) i doubt it will take another 2 weeks to sort out what ever bugs it has (more like they were too obsesed with the ps3 to care about anyone else)

I don't have any older burnout games, but this one is by far the best racing game I've ever played. There is so much to explore it looks awesome there are 75 cars in the game. So much better than Motostorm by many factors of 10. My current favorite PS3 game.

the problem is its now a franchise of EA as EA also wants gta4 and midnight club aswell looks like all the best games will eventually get eaten up by EA. you realy dont understand just how cr*p this game realy is till you spend less than 40 hours completing the game 100% every thing done including the online modes, revenge is in a totaly different leuge (pardon my spelling) and its also the better game as most of the features that made burnout what it is, is in that game when if you look at burnout paradise it resembles more need for speed than burnout (the way the cars handle, the way the ai behaves especially the oncomming traffic that always seems to swerve into you, the fact there are no crash events "showtime cant be included") EA are criminals and there killing all major game brands. if EA gets "take 2" then its good bye gta and midnight club as being good games not only that but EA shuts down servers for its old games like tiger woods golf 07 the servers were turned off just so they could force people to buy the newer version with very little difference to the previous game thats how burnout will be next time. so next time you think EA is doing a favour by helping out a developer studio just think what studio there planning to take over, i just hope its not "take 2" yet

As a loyal fan of the series since the beginning, I can't understand all the hate. I'm already approaching the hundreds of hours I had on Revenge, and this game has only been out for two months... These updates are going to make it so I can't stop playing, as if that's not already a problem
