Electronic Arts confirm that the arcade racer is ready to be unveiled at E3...

EA has today announced that it is to release Burnout Legends on the PSP in September 2005. The game, which is to envelope the best bits from the first three titles in the home console franchise, is to be unveiled at the E3 Expo and is currently in development at Criterion Games in Guildford, UK.

Announcing the game, Alex Ward, creative director, Criterion Games said, "Burnout Legends is the perfect quick gaming fix for the PSP…As anyone who's played Burnout can tell you, a quick 30 second crash junction can be just as satisfying as a two-hour multiplayer session -- and that's the hallmark of a perfect PSP game."

As well as featuring eight gameplay modes including old favourites Pursuit, Crash, and Road Rage, all available to play as Wi-Fi multiplayer, Burnout Legends will include a GameShare option that will allow other PSP owners to download a demo level of the game.
