Ratings board listing points to new Burnout game...
A listing on the Australian Classification Board website appears to have outed the existence of a new Burnout Game.
The listing, made by EA, is registered as originating from the UK - the home of Burnout developer Criterion Games. Exactly what the title refers to isn’t clear, but Criterion Creative Director Alex Ward recently tweeted that the company had been conducting presentations regarding a new game.
The Burnout series is known for spectacular slow-motion crashes, with some previous games even including a dedicated Crash Mode in which players rack up points by causing as much destruction as possible with a single collision. A post on Criterion’s website today featured a video of Burnout 2 - the first game in the series to have a dedicated Crash Mode.
Criterion recently won a BAFTA for the multiplayer elements of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.
