Weekly Releases – Edition #2 News
TVG rounds up this week's releases at a glance...
By Chris LeytonPosted: 10/09/2004
With Burnout 3: Takedown finally making its hugely anticipated release today itâ??s highly unlikely that many of the other releases will get a look in; certainly it provides the main highlight, but please one stark word of warning, please, please donâ??t rush to buy the PC version of Americaâ??s Ten Most Wanted, this game has already garnished far more success then it deserves.
Friday 10th September 2004
.hack OUTBREAK (PS2) â?“ Bandai bring the final instalment of their .hack series in episode 3, OUTBREAK. Players can transfer data from the second episode to this new title. This game is an â??animeâ?? Action/RPG for gamers that donâ??t know. The game features new weapons, higher-level skills and more exciting battles.
Americaâ??s 10 Most Wanted (PC) â?“ Welcome to a game in which gamers get to do what the title actually says. Players get the chance to catch the 10 most notorious people known to the USA. Players will search for men such as Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein and will continue to catch the most wanted people on the FBI list. (Please note this game may not be released until 17th September 2004)
Burnout 3 (Xbox & PS2) â?“ EA continue the series where they left up, but with a new healthy experience. Live enabled gamers can race up six players via Xbox Live. With new modes such as â??Crash Modeâ?? in which players must successfully cause the biggest crash. Hitting cars, tankers and anything else which gets in your path.
Chris Sawyerâ??s Locomotion (PC) â?“ Get ready to build your own multi million empire by building your own travelling empire. Get ready to compete with other companies to be the first to link city to city. The game features railroad, train, sea and air transportation. The game functions from the year 1900 to 2000 and includes realistic buildings for each specific year.
DJ Decks & FX (PS2) â?“ This game lets DJ wannabeâ??s mix tunes from their own bedroom. Players can pick tracks, mix them and record them to replay them via a headset. (Sorry about the confusion. We accidentally put this release as the 3rd September 2004)
Port Royale 2 (PC) â?“ Itâ??s the seventeenth century; youâ??re an adventurous trader who has set out to trade. Not everything around this game is surrounded by trade, players will have to watch their trade as enemies attack your fleets. Players get to trade with up to 60 countries. Hunt for pirates, or military ships to strengthen your convoy ships.
Others
Silent Storm Gold (PC) Spellforce Gold (PC) Creatures â?“ Exodus (PC) Creatures â?“ Village (PC) Arena Wars (PC) Euro Rally Champion (PC/PS2)
Please Note All information is gathered from very reliable sources all around. As TVG doesnâ??t have any connection with what goes on with releases, dates can automatically change. Please follow the game you are waiting on carefully.
Extra Note Sorry for any confusion regarding last weeks DJ â?“ Decks & FX release. We hope to have everything running up to scratch in the following weeks.
